AFRICAN LADIES FELLOWSHIP
Dr. 'Joke Ayoola is an associate professor of nursing at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
WHAT REALLY COUNTS
W all want the basic things of life - food, shelter, clothes - don't we? But often, we find ourselves seeking after those things that give us competitive edge over the Joneses and the Suberus around us.
The theme for our maiden annual retreat was, "Discerning God's Purpose" is to help us identify the things of life that really count. Our guest speakers also helped us understand how to pursue the really important things of life.
We are very grateful for the inspiration we have received from our guest speakers:
Sis. Lola Audu
Sis. Joan Cornelison
Sis. Michelle Loyd-Paige
Sis. Olukemi Ogunsan
Sis. Margaret Mwenda
These women of God affirmed that it is God's purpose, and not ours, that really counts. May God help us to keep our gaze on him as we seek to please him in everything that we do through life.
The main theme at our Ladies Fellowship this year is: "Discerning God's Purpose for My Life."
Please join us as we study the Word of God and pray for one another.
